knoweldgable staff, no hard sell of extras

Very refreshing. After dealing with main dealerships or Fords Of Winsford, this was a thoroughly refreshing experience. I turned up, looked at a few cars, test drove 4 cars and bought a car without any of the smoke and mirrors you get from main dealers when buying a car. There was no sitting you down for hours to go through the various insurances, special coatings etc...that seems to be where the main dealers make there money. Pleased with the car I bought and the staff appeared knowledgable about different types of car and knew the provenance of all the cars I asked about.

Straight talking no nonsense honest approach by the owner of the garage which is not every one’s cup of team but I liked that. No hard sell as left to do the viewing and test drive. I liked that the car was in prepared to sell state so no remedial work requested. I Paid market value but the Volvo V70 but was the best I had seen and I am very pleased with the purchase. Transaction was quick and simple with no bells or whistles (no coffee or free car mats etc). I always buy a car by its condition and history not by how smooth the dealer comes across. PX value was in line with online valuations and may be a little more. I may have been able to squeeze a few hundred pounds on the deal as I have seen my old car up for sale on their website for a few grand more they gave me, but I also understand they are business. As they say never look back. From my own experience, I am happy with my lot and like everything else go in with eyes wide open and if it is too good to be true it most likely is.
